Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the house, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet against other players. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not need to worry about other, more advanced players taking their mulla.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game pace, newcomers are able to take their time and plan while not needing to make quick choices.
It’s also much simpler to enjoy for a very long time with just a small bit of money since, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the croupier is given 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
