Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for beginning level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about other, more advanced individuals winning their moolla.
One more Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game pace, novices can take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also much simpler to enjoy for a very long time with only a tiny bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
