Online poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier announcing "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the other players receive five cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with an amount equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pays out chips equal to your bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
