Four of Poker’s Great Guys

No Joke, millions and millions of individuals strive to be the next "big thing" in poker, but here is a short list of four of the more famous "charming pros" of poker. Granted "nice" is associated with their names when you are sitting accross the table from them it’s "no more Mr. Nice guy" up until they have removed you out of the game!

Daniel Negreanu

In Two Thousand and Four, his tournament winnings added up to in excess of four and a half million dollars and he came away with two highly admired awards in the WSOP Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine’s Tournament Player of the Year. In February Two Thousand and Six he was appointed Card Player’s Favourite Poker Player. Daniel still has the humility to speak with his fans about how they will be able to advance their own game.

Howard Lederer

Referred to as "The Professor" and brother of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His success has lead to him making an instructional poker video called "Secrets of No Limit Hold’em" and co hosting a tournament poker show for Fox TV. As of 2005, his complete life time winnings surpass $2.7 million.

Scotty Nguyen

Scotty is 1 of the most active players in professional poker and from 2000 to Two Thousand and Four he placed in the money in excess of one hundred competitions. He is noted for saying "yeah baby" during poker matches and also credited with the term "that’s poker baby" when alluding to a exceptionally bad beat. As of 2006, his career winnings are just about six million dollars.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has earned 5 World Series of Poker titles with two of his wins happening in 2003. Has the alias "Jesus" due to his characteristic long hair and beard, that, and along with his ability to toss playing cards fast enough to slice through pickles and bananas. As of Two Thousand and Five his total poker tourney earnings exceeded 5 million dollars.
