Poker Aces – learning to bet them

[ English ]

Poker Aces references two aces dealt pre-flop. It is the best attainable pre-flop hand inhold’em Poker. But regardless a good many bettors end up on the losing end when given this hand.

When you’re given a pair of Aces, you just do not fold pre-flop. You’re sitting with the greatest possible hand at this part of the game. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I would say no to that.

Remember, you’re looking to generate as much profit from this strong position. You want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will simply drive most gamblers into dropping out and not putting a wager.

If you’re in the early position (first or 2nd to actually bet), you will lay a single wager. Anybody with good cards will call, hopefully a player might raise. If someone has made a raise don’t hop to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your strategy will be to get rid of anyone that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you are fortunate you will fool one player into thinking that you are tricking.

If you’re in the center or later position (near the last to cast your bet) you’ll observe as every player calls and then raise. Even though you’re holding a pair of aces, if you can try to abstain from a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing others to fold following the flop. If you don’t force out your opponents you chance squandering your hand.
